Sketch into Summer
Now in its 18th year, Sketch Saturdays is invigorated by the recent exhibition celebrating its history, and raring to go out into the outdoors after a winter of largely interior sketching. Subjects identified for our exploration are The Pineapple at Airth, Dunmore House and harbour, South Alloa, Cambuskenneth Abbey, Mars Wark, and The Smithy in Stirling. Foul weather of blasted Heath proportions might drive us back into the inexhaustible Smith collection.
Sketchers should bring a portable selection of sketch media, drawing block with solid backboard, and either a collapsible stool, or cushion in a polybag.
Meetings are every Saturday 1 pm – 3.30pm, for eight weeks from 22nd April to 10th June.
Cost for the block is £50. With a concession rate of £40, and a Junior rate of £24, we are an inclusive group. School-age sketchers are welcome, but under 13 years of age should be accompanied by a responsible adult
