The Stirling Smith Art gallery and Museum is a registered charity (SCO61612).
We depend the generosity of our supporters to help fund the daily running costs and develop the exhibition programme.
As a registered charity, you museum must raise over 30% of its annual operating budget from charitable trusts and foundations, companies and individual donors so that it can fulfil its aims to:
CELEBRATE the lives and the achievements of the people who live and work in Stirlingshire.
COMMUNICATE the stories and histories, past and present of Stirling and its surrounding villages.
ENRICH the experience of visitors through the understand emotional context of the objects and art works.
ENGAGE new audiences and inspire future generations to care for and enjoy the collections.
ENCOURAGE local community engagement.
An additional way to support the Museum at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK Tax payer, using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give we get an extra 25 pence.

A Legacy Fund has been established which is intended to benefit the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, and is separate and distinct from any other funding provided.
