Friends of the Smith Lecture: Reframing A National Collection

How do you curate a collection of artworks that spans over a hundred years of creativity and is constantly growing? Emma Gillespie is Assistant Curator at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Join her for an evening of stories from the nation’s collection, including behind-the-scenes insights into recent exhibition projects, new acquisitions, and the role of the permanent collection as a site for creative conversations.
All lectures take place at the Smith, at Albert Place, Stirling, on Wednesdays at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm)
Admission is by cash at the door and includes tea or coffee and biscuits afterwards
£5 Adults
£4 Members of the Friends
£2 for students, on production of a valid student ID card
