Stirling Field and Archaeological Society: Leny Woods by David Sneddon & Gavin MacGregor

The Society’s next meeting is in the Smith Museum at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 11th February, when we shall hear about the recent archaeological survey of more than 200 sites in Leny Woods, Callander. Some of the sites were excavated, which provided evidence that they had once been used for the production of charcoal and prompted experiments to investigate how that had been achieved.
All are welcome to come along to what promises to be an interesting talk by David Sneddon & Gavin MacGregor, from Callander Landscapes Partnership Project.
Admission for non-members is by voluntary donation
