Stirling Field and Archaeological Society.  The Society’s first meeting of the winter season is in the Smith Museum at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 8^th October. Nina Schonberg (British Trust for Ornithology) will talk about the Scottish Raptor Monitoring Scheme, which co-ordinates efforts, throughout Scotland, to determine the numbers, distribution and breeding success of birds such as Buzzards, Eagles, Kites, Ospreys etc. All are welcome to come along; admission is free to members, non-members by voluntary donation.
