Stirling Field and Archaeological Society – The work of the Association of Field Archaeologists by Dugald MacInnes

Stirling Field and Archaeological Society.  The Society’s next meeting of the winter season is in the Smith Museum at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 12th November when we will hear from Dugald MacInnes about the work of the Association of Field Archaeologists. Members of the Association, which was founded in 1987, are all trained amateurs and have earned a reputation for their expertise in field surveys and excavation. The talk is an opportunity to find out what they do and to learn about some of the sites they have worked on.  All are welcome to come along; admission for non-members is  by voluntary donation
